Our Story

About Ethio Biherawi School

Ethio Biherawi School is located in Akaki-Kality Subcity, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, established in 1998 G.C. by Mrs. Amelework Abebe. The school presently serves grades KG–12 with an enrollment of nearly 5,000 students, 350 professional staff members, and a paraprofessional support staff of 125.

We serve students from low-income families as well, assisting parents facing financial hardship through scholarship schemes — currently, about 150 students benefit from the tuition scholarship.
